Four Players Secure Spots in “The 10,”
Earn Korn Ferry Tour Status Entering Fortinet Cup Championship
PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida – Headlined by three-time winner Michael Brennan, the top four players in the Fortinet Cup standings have mathematically secured their spot in “The 10” and earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2026 season, PGA TOUR Americas officials announced Wednesday. Through their play in the first 15 events on PGA TOUR Americas this season, Brennan, Davis Lamb, David Perkins and Brett White secured their Korn Ferry Tour cards and will finish in the top 10 of the Fortinet Cup when the season concludes Sunday, September 28.
Six Korn Ferry Tour cards are still available as a field of 115 players compete at this week’s season-ending Fortinet Cup Championship at Morgan Creek Golf Course in Surrey, British Columbia. The 72-hole season finale will award 600 points to the winner – compared to 500 points in the regular season – and the field will be cut to the low 60 players and ties after 36 holes.
Carson Bacha currently holds the 10th and final position in “The 10” with 817 points.
By finishing in “The 10”, players will secure two opportunities to earn a PGA TOUR card – first, at Final Stage of 2025 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry (December 11-14); and next season as members of the Korn Ferry Tour. A player’s finish in “The 10” also determines his share of the $100,000 bonus pool, courtesy of Fortinet, with the No. 1 player earning $25,000.
Beyond “The 10”, players finishing Nos. 11-25 in the final Fortinet Cup standings will be exempt into Second Stage of 2025 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, while PGA TOUR Americas members finishing No. 26 and beyond will be exempt into First Stage. Additionally, players finishing Nos. 11-80 in the Fortinet Cup will retain PGA TOUR Americas membership in 2026.
MATHEMATICALLY ASSURED TO FINISH IN “THE 10”
- Michael Brennan
In 15 starts on PGA TOUR Americas this season, Brennan has three wins and 11 top-10s, with those performances catapulting him to No. 114 in the Official World Golf Ranking. The 23-year-old from Leesburg, Virginia, has held the No. 1 position since his breakthrough victory at the BioSteel Championship in August. Two starts later, he won the CRMC Championship presented by Northern Pacific Center in a playoff, and he won the very next week at the ATB Classic to clinch his Korn Ferry Tour card via Three-Victory Promotion. Brennan earned PGA TOUR Americas membership last season after finishing No. 12 in the PGA TOUR University Class of 2024, which he followed with a No. 18 finish in the 2024 Fortinet Cup as a rookie.
- Davis Lamb
Lamb has recorded five top-five finishes this season, including an unofficial victory at the weather-shortened Inter Rapidisimo Golf Championship in May, and has been no lower than No. 2 in the Fortinet Cup since the final event of the Latin America Swing. The 28-year-old from Bethesda, Maryland, will finish among the top 10 in the Fortinet Cup for the second time, having previously finished No. 3 for the 2023 PGA TOUR Canada season to earn Korn Ferry Tour membership.
- David Perkins
Perkins earned membership on a PGA TOUR-affiliated tour for the first time last season via PGA TOUR Americas Q-School, and he went on to finish No. 28 in the 2024 Fortinet Cup to retain membership for the 2025 season. This year, the 27-year-old from Peoria, Illinois, has four top-10s, including his first TOUR-sanctioned victory at the 2025 Explore NB Open, and holds the tour’s longest active streak of made cuts (10).
- Brett White
White became the third player in PGA TOUR Americas history to record a sub-60 round, carding a final-round 59 en route to his first career win at the 2025 Commissionaires Ottawa Open presented by Lépine Apartments. The 32-year-old from Grand Rapids, Michigan, earned membership this season as one of the medalists from First Stage of 2024 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, and he returns to the Korn Ferry Tour, where he previously played the 2022 season, eight years after a life-threatening battle with viral encephalitis.
