Justin Biwer (San Diego, California) carded a 5-under 65 Saturday at Cragun’s Legacy Courses and will start the final round with a three-stroke lead at the CRMC Championship presented by Northern Pacific Center in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Biwer made another double bogey on Saturday – a six on the par-4 14th – and once again, he rebounded with a birdie on the next hole. In fact, this week he has made three doubles and one triple, and on all four occasions, he has followed with an under-par score (three birdies, one eagle). Through 54 holes, he is 19-under with one eagle and 28 birdies, including eight in his third-round 65.
With a win, Biwer is projected to move from No. 43 to No. 6 on the PGA TOUR Americas Points List with just three events remaining in the race for 10 Korn Ferry Tour cards at season’s end.
Making only his fourth TOUR-sanctioned start of the year, David Perkins (East Peoria, Illinois) carded a 6-under 64 on Saturday and is tied for second at 16-under. Perkins earned Korn Ferry Tour membership for this season by finishing No. 4 on the 2025 PGA TOUR Americas Points List, but a back injury has sidelined him since The Panama Championship in February.
Also tied for second at 16-under is Tom Fischer (Birmingham, Alabama), a rookie out of Ole Miss who is making his sixth start on Tour. Fischer earned membership by finishing No. 14 in the PGA TOUR University Class of 2026, and he has posted top-25 finishes in three of his last four starts, including a T18 at last week’s Manitoba Open.
Bryan Lee (Fairfax, Virginia) matched the course record with a 9-under 61, and he improved 26 spots on the leaderboard to T4 at 15-under. Also tied for fourth is University of Minnesota grad Ben Warian (Stillwater, Minnesota).
