Cragun’s Legacy Golf Courses hosted its first CRMC Championship presented by Gertens – the inaugural PGA Tour Canada event in the US in 2022. This event was the first PGA Tour Canada tournament to be played on United States soil and the second PGA-sanctioned event in the state of Minnesota.
Cragun’s Legacy Courses is also excited to announce partnership with Minnesota’s most decorated PGA Tour professional & golf course designer, Tom Lehman. The Lehman Design Group is focused on making the golf course more playable along with using the natural contours of this beautiful piece of property. This ten-million-dollar golf course renovation and expansion started in April of 2021 and will continue through the spring of 2023. When this project is complete the Legacy will be a true golfer’s paradise offering 54 holes of golf.
The “Dutch Legacy 27” will feature three renovated nines, (red, white, & blue) offering players the variety of three different 18-hole combinations. Every hole on this course has been touched by the renovation from white sand to newly paved cart paths throughout. The “Lehman Legacy 18” will be Tom’s signature 7400-yard championship golf course. This course layout moves perfectly through this 1000-acre wooded sanctuary working its way around Stephens Lake and though many of our other natural wetlands, a true Minnesota backdrop. Not to be outdone, our reversible par 3 course is perfect place to work on your short irons or introduce a beginner to the game. Each of these courses offer a variety of tee box options to accommodate all skill levels.
Cragun’s Legacy Courses are located approximately one mile from Cragun’s full-service resort which has been in continuous operation since 1940. Cragun’s Resort is located on the shores of beautiful Gull Lake with over 4500 feet of shoreline. Cragun’s Resort offers a wide choice of lodging options from lodge rooms to 1-7-bedroom cabins. The resort also offers a full-service marina including fishing, boating, beaches and swimming as well as the Gull Lake Cruises luxury yacht which can accommodate up to 100 passengers. Family and children’s activities are offered as well as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, indoor Sports Centre, tennis courts and hiking and biking trails. The resort also offers several dining options from a casual sandwich to a sumptuous meal.
