PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida – PGA TOUR Americas announced the recipients of five tournament awards from the Tour’s inaugural 2024 season, including Tournament of the Year, Best Pro-Am, Best Tournament Brand Identity, Best Tournament Awareness, and the Sales Award.
The Diners Club Peru Open was named the 2024 Tournament of the Year for PGA TOUR Americas. Hosted at Los Inkas Golf Club in Lima, Peru, the event was founded in 1953 and has a long history of notable winners including Roberto De Vicenzo and Harry Higgs. The Diners Club Peru Open became a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event in 2012, when it was added to the PGA TOUR Latinoamérica schedule.
